Here we are, headed into summer, and the garden is in full swing. I can't help but spend every evening on the patio, basking in this scene! 

Since this is our last summer here on our hillside retreat in Pelham, I am taking in every minute of it.  We are moving, and our house is up for sale. Everything has its time and this place is looking for a new owner.

This is a great weekend, because we are having multiple birthday celebrations at our house (oh, to be turning seven again!), family is coming to town, and this is the weekend for the Paradise City arts festival in Northampton, Massachusetts.   

I can't wait to peruse all of the crafts and visit friends at their booths. I imagine that right now (it is 1:30 am as I write this) they are all busily finishing up their weaving, dyeing, painting, firing, sewing, or beading before they pack it all up and schlep it to the show.

I'm thinking of all of you, and can't wait to see you there.
