One Cause, One Wednesday, One Hundred Collages

Have you heard about ONE yet? It is the latest cancer fundraiser, running on the fuel  and creativity of Virginia Spiegel.  Wednesday, Februrary 16 is the big day, and you only get one chance to participate in this opportunity to raise money for the American Cancer Society and bolster up your art collection at the same time!  Take a look at the artists who are participating and donating collages for this event.  Virginia Spiegel is a long-time contributor to VFL, and we are proud to be able to help promote this important project!

Fiberart For A Cause has already donated over $205,000 to the American Cancer Society through the generosity of fiber artists and their patrons. (Wow!)

On Wednesday, February 16, ONE hundred collages will be offered with a minimum donation for each collage of:

$160 for two hours (10 a.m. - Noon CST)
$80 for two hours (Noon - 2:00 p.m. CST)
$40 for two hours (2:00 - 4:00 p.m. CST)

There will be a direct link from to all the collages at least one day prior to Wednesday, February 16 for a preview and all the details about how to acquire your favorite collage(s). Collages will be featured periodically on my blog and Facebook Fan Page prior to February 16.

All collages contain fiber. The collages are mounted to 10x8” 140 lb. watercolor paper and are ready for framing.

All donations for artwork will be made directly to the ACS online through FFAC here on Wednesday, February 16 and donors will receive an immediate receipt from the American Cancer Society.
